BUDAPEST, Mar 22, SPA-- Hungary on Saturday rejected a U.S. request to close Iraq's embassy in Budapest.
"Hungary is not at war with Iraq and it does not take part in the military actions aimed at enforcing the United Nations' resolutions pertinent to Iraq," the Hungarian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Hungary received the U.S. request to close Iraq's Budapest embassy on Thursday night, the ministry said earlier. --SPA 2248 Local Time 1948 GMT
